Cauliflower Kurma

INGREDIENTS
Finely Cut Onions – 1/2 Cup
Cut Tomatoes – 1/4 Cup
Cauliflower (Small Flowerettes) – 1/2
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Cooked Green Peas – 1/2 Cup
Salt – To Taste
Oil – For Frying

Grind Together:
Grated Coconut – 4 Tblsps
Cashewnuts – 10
Poppy Seeds – 1 Tsp
Garlic – 3 Flakes
Roasted Gram – 1 Tblsp
Onion – 1
Green Chillies – 2
Red Chillies – 2
Dhania – 1 Tsp
Cinnamon – 1 Small Piece
Cardamom – 3
Cloves – 2

METHOD
1. Blanch cauliflower in hot water for 3 minutes.
2. Heat oil, add onions and fry for 2 minutes.
3. Mix Tomatoes and stir until it turns pulpy.
4. Mix cauliflower, peas, turmeric powder and enough water. Add salt.
5. Cook until thick. Garnish with cut coriander leaves.
6. Serve with plain Oothappam/Chappathi/Poori.
(Using this Cauliflower Oothappam can be made.)
