CARROT PEAS DRY CURRY
Ingredients
Carrot – 3 grated
Green peas – ¼ cup
Green chillies – 1
Red chillies – 1
Salt – to taste
Grated fresh coconut- 1 tbl spn
Oil – 1 ½ tsp
Mustard seeds – 1.4 tsp
Black gram dhal – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – few
Method:
Heat little oil in a kadai add mustard seeds, dhal, curry leaves, slit green chillies, broken red chilli and then add carrots.
Add peas, saute for a minute, pour ¼ cup of water close with lid and cook in medium flame till moisture evaporates.
Open the lid, add salt, coconut and serve with rice.
