INGREDIENTS
Corn Flour – 1 Cup
Sugar – 2 Cups
Water – 3 ½ Cups
Lemon Juice – 2 Tsps
Colour – Orange Red
Ghee – ½ Cup
Sliced Almonds, Cashewnuts and Melon Seeds

METHOD
1. Mix 1 cup of water with corn flour.
2. Heat sugar and 2 ½ cups of water together in a kadai/frying pan.
3. Boil until it reaches 1 string consistency.
4. Add corn flour and keep stirring until it gets a shine.
5. Add half of the ghee and cook until it forms thick mass.
6. Add colour which is mixed with little water to the halwa.
7. Add all the nuts and rest of the ghee.
8. Cook for another one or two minutes and pour on a greased Barfi tray.
9. Cut into squares after few minutes
