BHINDI MASALA
INGREDIENTS
Bhindi/Ladies Fingers – 1/2 Kg
Fried Onion Paste – 300 Gms
Tomato – 1 Diced
Slit Green Chilli – 1
Cashew nut and Poppy Paste – 1 Tblsp
Thick Strained Curds (Whipped) – 300 gms
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Dhania Powder – 2 Tsp
Jeera – 1 Tsp
Sugar – 1 Tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 Tsp
Fenugreek Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Oil – For Frying
METHOD
1. Wash, wipe, cut ladies fingers to 2 inch pieces and deep fry in hot oil. Keep aside.
2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, green chilli and diced tomato.
3. Stir fry by adding onion paste, all spice powders, salt, sugar and whipped curd.
4. When oil floats on top, add fried ladies fingers, along with some water.
5. Cook for few more minutes and serve hot with chappatis.
