Beans Jeera Curry:
Ingredients:
French beans – ¼ kg
Salt – to taste
Oil – for frying
Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
Urad dhal – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
Curry leaves – few
Grind together:
Red chillies – 3
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Cashew nuts – 7
Grated coconut -1 ½ tsp
Method:
1. Cut beans to 1 ½ inch pieces and pressure cook while keeping dhal on a seprate container.
Or
Micro power high , sprinkle with litlle water for 3 to 4 minutes,
2. Grind the mentioned ingredients without adding water.
3. Heat oil, add seasonings and then the beans
4. Saute for few minutes, add ground paste, salt and fry well until moisture is evaporated.
5. Serve as a dry curry with cooked rice and ghee.
