INGREDIENTS
Whole Wheat Flour – 1 ½ Cups
Boiled Mashed Potatoes – 60 gms
Butter – 1 Tsp
Warm Milk – Little to Bind
Salt – To Taste
Oil – For Frying

METHOD
1. Mash the boiled potato without any lump while it is warm.
2. Add butter, salt to flour and blend well with fingers.
3. Add mashed potatoes and little milk to bind and prepare a soft dough.
4. Prepare balls, roll out and fry on a hot tawa with very little oil on both sides.

  • Thank you!  I am "gluten free" and wondering if I could use amaranth flour for this recipe?  I am very tempted to try but I've only made amaranth once and fried the bread.  Do you think I should use different quantities of amaranth to potato?  Many thanks!
