Aama Vadai – Savoury Deep Fried
INGREDIENTS
Thuar Dhal – 1/2 Cup
Bengal Gram Dhal – 1/4 Cup
Urad Dhal – 1/4 Cup
Salt – 1 Tsp
Green Chillies – 5
Grated Fresh Coconut – 1 1/2 Tblsp
Oil – For Frying

METHOD
1. Wash and soak the dhal varities together for 2 hours.
2. Strain water completely.
3. Grind green chillies with salt, add dhal and run mixie at low speed only leaving intervals, mixing in between.
4. Add coconut, mix well, prepare lemon sized balls. Flatten and deep fry until golden and crisp.
