Varutharacha vendakka Curry

Ingredients

Vendakka(ladies finger)
Savola(onion) – 1 medium sized
Green chilli – 1 or 2
curyleaves
small onion – 2 or 3
Grated coconut – 2 cup
fenugreek(uluva) – 1 pinch
Aniseeds(perumjeerakam) -1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
salt
water
Procedure
Step 1
Dry fry grated coconut, small onion and curyleaves till the colour turns into brown, then add masala powders ,uluva and perumjeerakam and sauté till the raw smell go off.
put off the flame ,allow it to cool. Grind it well without adding water

Step 2
Heat coconut oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, sauté onion, green chilli, and curry leaves .Then add ladies finger and sauté till the stickiness go off. Close the vessel and cook the Vendakka in low flame.Then add grinded masala into it, mix well, add enough water according to the gravy. Close the pan keep in medium low flame for 5 to 8 minutes. Put off the flame.
