Ginger cake

This is a variety ginger flavored eggless cake prepared using wheat flour. Instead of sugar here I used jaggery and natural spices such as cardamom ,cinnamon etc.This ginger cake is Very healthy and easy to prepare with commonly available ingredients.
Ingredients used:
Dry Ingredients
Wheat flour : 1 cup(240ml cup)
Baking powder : ¾ tsp
Baking soda : ¼ tsp
Spices : cardamom – 4 to 6 pods,Cloves – 1 or 2
Cinnamon – 1 small piece,nutmeg – 2 pinch
If you like ginger powder also use.
Grind these spices with 1 spoon of sugar.
Nuts : Here I use cashew and almonds powder.(Optional)
Wet Ingredients:
Milk : ½ cup(120ml)
Melted butter : ¼ cup(60ml)
Melted jaggery : ¾ cup(Quantity you can adjust as per your taste)
(This will be approx..80 to 100g)
Ginger juice : 1 tbsp
Honey : 1 tbsp(Optional)
Ginger zest : 2 tsp
Note: If you choose unsalted butter, just add 1 pinch of salt into the batter.
Better use baking powder and baking soda. If you want to add egg , then avoid Baking soda.
