Chemmeen(prawns) Roast by Malabar cookbook

Description :

This is a tasty traditional prawn roast suitable for chapati, appam, rice etc.

Ingredients :

Prawns (shrimps) – Approx.500g
For marination:

Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt

For masala:
Onion – 2 medium sized
Green chilli – 1 or 2
Tomato – 1 medium sized
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1+1/4tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek powder – 2 or 3 pinch
Coconut milk – 1/2 cup

Instead of coconut milk you can use water.
