മലബാർ സ്റ്റൈൽ ഉണക്ക ചെമ്മീൻ മാങ്ങാ കറി/Dried Prawn with Green Mango curry
Description :
This is a simple traditional side dish very popular in Kerala especially Malabar side during the mango season.
Ingredients used:
Dried prawn(chemmeen) – 1 cup
Green mango – 1 +1/2 mango(According to the sourness you want)
Grinding ingredients:
Grated coconut – Approx.3/4 cup
Shallots – 4 to 5
Green chilli or kanthari – According to your taste
Curry leaves – few
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp(don’t add more coriander powder, taste will change)
Water
Grind all the ingredients to make a fine paste.
Dry roast dried prawn till it become crispy, then crush slightly
Cook mango first, then add crushed prawn and cook for 5 minutes.
Then add ground masala ,Adjust the gravy thickness by adding water. Boil it
Finally seasoned with coconut oil
