In this video we will see how to make Pasi payaru jelly recipe in tamil. This jelly recipe can be made without gelatin or agar agar. We are only going to use moong dal or pasi payaru to make this jelly. It is a little long process but the texture and color of this recipe looks like a glass halwa. If we remove it from heat early it will resemble a glass halwa but if it is cooked longer it will become like a jelly recipe which is chewy.

Ingredients:
1 cup Green Gram(200 g)
1+3+1 cup Water
2 cup Water
1 cup sugar(or a 2 tbsp less than 1 cup)
pinch of Salt
1/4 cup Ghee(4 tbsp)
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
