Sabudana pali papad summer special recipe. We already have seen 2-3 sabudana papad recipes. This is yet another easy and simple addition to the list. In Maharashtra there is a tradition to make different types of papad in summer. There are known as “Walvan recipes.” This is one such recipe. While making sabudana papad you need to soak sabudana then cook it and then you can make papad from it. Today we are simplifying the recipe. You don’t need to soak the sabudana. It is made very easy and simple. It looks nice and tastes simply delicious. These puff up really good on frying. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Sabudana flour
• 5 cups Water
• Salt to taste
• 2 cups hot Water
Method:
• Blend 1 1/4 cup sabudana into as much fine powder as possible in mixer and strain it through a
fine sieve.
• Take water in a pan and add salt, sabudana flour. Mix well.
• No lumps of sabudana flour should be formed.
• When the sabudana flour is mixed well with water turn on the gas and cook the mixture well.
• Do not forget to stir it continuously.
• After cooking for about 10 minutes add water and continue cooking.
• You can use 7 cups water in the beginning itself.
• Cook the mixture until it gets nice glaze.
• After cooking the mixture for another 15 minutes when turns translucent turn off the gas and
make papad.
• Spread a plastic sheet and make papad on it.
• You can use steel plates or silicon mats or butter papar in place of plastic sheet.
• Add a little mixture on the paper and that’s it. You don’t need to spread it.
• You can dry these papad under fan or sundry the papad.
• When the edges begin to leave the paper after about 6 hours lift the papad and flip it over.
• Dry them well from both sides.
• When the papad are dried well from both sides you can store them in an airtight container and fry
them whenever needed.
• They have shelf life of about a year.
