Today we are making Solapur special mirachi bhaji or pakoda. With rainy season on pakoda recipe is must. We already have seen lot many pakoda recipes like kanda bhaji, batata bhaji, khekada bhaji, palak bhaji etc. This is a little different recipe. These pakodas get so nice coating of the batter that we can call these cake pakoda or sponge pakoda. These taste just awesome and are very easy to make. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Besan
• 1/4 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp Baking soda
• 1/4 cup Water
• Green chilies

Method:
• In a bowl take besan, ajwain, salt, baking soda and mix everything well together.
• Add a little water at a time to make thick batter.
• Beat it really good until it turns nice and light for at least 5 minutes.
• Drop green chili in the batter and coat it well.
• Heat up oil on medium heat and drop batter coated chilies in it.
• Fry pakodas well on medium heat from both sides on medium heat.
• When pakoda the color a little flip over and fry from other side too.
• When pakodas are fried well from both sides take them out, drain excess oil and transfer into
a dish.
• Mirachi bhaji or pakodas are all ready.
• You can have these as it is or with chutney or sauce.
• You can make around 12-13 mirachi bhaji from above proportion.
