पाटवडी रस्सा करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• तेल
• १ चमचा अख्खे धने
• १ तुकडा दालचिनी
• मायपत्री
• १ चक्रीफूल चा तुकडा
• २~३ लवंगा
• २~३ मिरे
• लसूण पाकळ्या
• आल्याचे तुकडे
• सुक्या लाल मिरच्या
• १ उभा चिरलेला कांदा
• २~३ चमचे सुकं किसलेलं खोबरं
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• ३~४ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• ४~५ लसूण पाकळ्या
• १/२” आल्याचे तुकडे
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• ३ चमचे तेल
• गरम पाणी
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ चमचा तेल
• हळद
• १ १/२ कप पाणी
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ कप बेसन

Patawadi rassa is a Khandesh special traditional recipe. It contains of patawadi cooked in curry. Patawadi is made from besan or gram flour. Rassa is spicy gravy that tastes just awesome. It is very easy and simple recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• Oil
• 1 tsp Coriander seeds
• 1 Cinnamon stick
• Maypatri
• 1 piece of Star anise
• 2~3 Cloves
• 2~4 Black pepper
• Garlic cloves
• Chopped Ginger
• Dry red chilies
• 1 sliced Onion
• 2~3 tsp dry grated Coconut
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 3~4 Green chilies
• 4~5 Garlic cloves
• 1/2” chopped Ginger
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 3 tsp Oil
• Hot Water
• 1 tsp Oil
• Turmeric powder
• 1 1/2 cup Water
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup Besan

Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add coriander seeds, cinnamon, maypatri, a piece of star anise, cloves, black pepper, garlic,
ginger, dry red chilies and mix well.
• Add onion and fry until it gets light golden color.
• When onion begins to turn light golden add coconut and mix well.
• Fry until coconut gets light golden color.
• When coconut turns light golden color turn off the gas and let everything cool down.
• Take cumin seeds in a blender jar.
• Add green chilies, garlic, ginger and blend everything into paste. Vatan for patvadi is ready.
• Transfer the fried masala into the blender jar and add coriander leaves.
• Blend everything into fine paste using minimum water.
• Try to avoid use of water while blending. Add just 1-2 tsp water if at all needed.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add the blended masala and mix well.
• Fry the msasala well for about 4-5 minutes.
• When masala begins to release oil add hot water and mix well.
• Add salt to taste and simmer the gravy on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes.
• In another pan, heat up oil.
• Add the vatan and fry for just about a minute.
• Add turmeric powder and mix well.
• Add water, salt and bring it to boil.
• When water begins to boil add besan and mix quickly. No lumps of besan should be formed.
• Cook for about 5-7 minutes until besan comes together.
• Grease a dish well with oil.
• When besan comes together, transfer it into a dish and spread evenly.
• You can spread dry coconut, finely chopped coriander leaves on this if you want.
• Let the mixture cool down and cut it into pieces.
• You can decide the shape and size of patvadi.
• Patvadi is all ready.
• Serve patvadi with rassa.
