Suji balls turn out nice, crispy and chatpatit. This is a very easy and simple recipe. These turn out crispy outside and light inside. This is a real quick recipe that doesn’t need too many ingredients. It can be made from the ingredients those are easily available in your kitchen. You can keep the balls ready and fry whenever you want. These remain crunchy and crispy for about an hour. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup fine Rava / Suji
• 1/2 cup Besan
• 1 tsp Rice flour
• 1 1/4 cup Water
• 1 tsp Mixed herbs
• Chili flakes
• Grated Garlic
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Grated Carrot (Optional)
• Finely chopped Capsicum (Optional)
• Oil for frying

Method:
• In a pan take add rava, besan and add rice flour.
• You can blend coarse rava in mixer and use it in place of fine rava.
• Mix well and add a little water at a time to make paste. No lumps of besan should be formed.
• Cook the mixture well on medium heat.
• Stir it continuously while cooking so that no lumps will be formed.
• When mixture comes together like dough, turn off the gas and add mixed herbs, chilli flakes,
garlic, coriander leaves, salt.
• Mix everything well together. You can use spices according to your choice.
• You can use red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala in place of mixed herbs.
• You can add 1/2 cup cheese if you want.
• Add carrot, capsicum and mix well.
• Adding veggies is optional. You can skip veggies if you don’t want.
• Or you can add veggies according to your choice.
• Let the mixture cool down.
• Grease your hands well with oil and roll small balls from the mixture.
• Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan.
• Drop suji balls in hot oil and fry well.
• Avoid disturbing the suji balls until they float in oil.
• When suji balls get nice golden color from all sides take them out, drain excess oil and
transfer into a dish.
• Suji balls are all ready.
• You can have them as is or with sauce or any dipping of your choice.
