• ५०० ग्रॅम बोनलेस चिकन / चिकन ब्रेस्ट
• १ चमचा किसलेली लसूण

Today’s recipe is café style chicken popcorn. This is a very delicious and easy recipe. Though a multi-step process, you must try it as the end result is super delicious. The chicken turns out nice, crunchy and juicy inside. This is a real quick recipe. In this recipe, we will marinate the chicken and then coat it with maida twice. Why second coat, that you will find in the recipe. After that we will deep fry it. It can be a good party starter. I will share lot many tips to make perfect chicken popcorn. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 500 gm bones Chicken / Chicken breast
• 1 tsp grated Garlic
• 1/2 Lemon juice
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Chili sauce
• 1 tsp Soya sauce
• Black Pepper powder
• 2~3 tbsp Curd
• 1 Egg
• Salt to taste
• Black Pepper powder
• 1 cup / 150 gm Maida
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Black Pepper powder
• Ice Water
• Oil for frying

Method:
• Wash chicken really good 3-4 times and chop it into 1 1/2’-2” long pieces.
• Add garlic, lemon juice, red chili powder, salt, chili sauce, soya sauce, black pepper powder and
curd and mix everything well together.
• Cover and marinate the chicken preferably overnight or at least 2-3 hours.
• Break an egg and add salt and black pepper powder.
• Beat the mixture really good.
• Add this mixture into the marinated chicken and mix well.
• Add red chili powder and salt in maida and mix well. Mixture for coating is ready.
• Coat each chicken piece well with this maida mixture and keep it aside.
• Dip each chicken piece quickly in ice water first and then coat it well again with maida mixture.
• Press it a little so that maida won’t come off while frying.
• You can store these pieces in freeze for about 2-3 days and in zip lock bag in freezer for about 3
months!!
• Heat up oil on high heat and when the oil is hot enough, drop chicken into it.
• Fry chicken well for about 5 minutes from both sides.
• When the chicken is fried well, take it out, drain excess oil and transfer it on a wire rack. Chicken
popcorn is ready.
