Custard cake is a very easy and simple recipe. We are not using cream or butter in this recipe. We are making this cake without making base of the cake. We are using toast for the base. This is a no bake cake. It tastes just awesome. Custard gives fantastic taste to the cake. It gets nice layers. This can be a perfect dessert. You can keep it ready in freeze way before time and serve when needed. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 3 cup full cream Milk
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1/2 cup Corn flour
• 1/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
• 1 cup Water
• 2 tsp instant Coffee powder
• Chocolate essence
• 2 cups Water
• 1/4 cup Sugar
• 1 tsp instant Coffee powder
• Few Toasts
• Few Choco chips

Method:
• Heat up milk in a pan and add sugar.
• Mix well and bring it to boil.
• Add coffee powder, chocolate essence and mix well.
• You can use vanilla essence in place of chocolate essence or you can completely skip the
essence.
• Boil everything together for another 2 minutes. In a bowl take corn flour, unsweetened cocoa
powder and mix well.
• Add water and mix well to make slurry. No lumps should be formed.
• Add the slurry into the milk when it is boiled for 2 minutes after adding coffee powder.
• Mix well and cook until the mixture thickens up really good for about 4-5 minutes.
• Stir the mixture continuously or it will stick to the bottom of the pan.
• When the mixture thicken up well, turn off the gas and let it cool down completely.
• For making coffee mixture heat up water in a pan and add sugar, coffee powder and mix well.
• Boil until sugar is dissolved.
• Turn off the gas and keep the coffee mixture aside. Line up a baking tray with cling wrap and
arrange toast in it.
• You can skip the cling wrap if you don’t want.
• Pour the coffee mixture on the toasts.
• Mix the chocolate custard well once and add a layer of it on the toasts. Spread it evenly.
• Dip toasts in coffee mixture and arrange another layer of it on the chocolate custard.
• Pour another layer of chocolate custard on it and spread evenly.
• Garnish with choco chips and transfer the tin into freeze to set preferably overnight or for at
least 7-8 hours.
• Lift the custard cake with the help of cling wrap and take it out.
• Remove the cling wrap and cut the cake into pieces.
• Custard cake is all ready.
