Chinch goli is sweet, tangy and a little hot candy. It is made from chinch that is tamarind. You must have enjoyed it in your childhood. You can make this from the ingredients available in your kitchen and it is a very quick and simple recipe. I am sure you can’t stop on just one candy. Do try chinch goli at home and drop a comment for me.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 Tamarind
• 1 cup Gudh / Jaggery
• 1 tbsp Cumin powder
• 1 tbsp Black salt
• 1 tbsp Red chili powder
• 1 tsp Ghee
• 1 tbsp Water
• Powdered sugar

Method:
• Take tamarind and clean it. Remove the hard cover, stalk, seeds
and veins if any.
• Transfer the tamarind into a blender jar and blend it into fine
paste.
• Heat up pan on medium heat and add ghee.
• Add gudh and let it melt.
• When gudh melts, add water and mix well.
• Add cumin powder, black salt, red chili powder and mix well.
• Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
• Add tamarind and mix well.
• Cook just for about 3-4 minutes more.
• Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down.
• Roll into small round candies and coat these in powdered sugar.
• Chinch goli is already.

Tips:
• Adding water in gudh syrup gives nice binding to chinch goli. If
you use gudh syrup without adding ant water then it dries up
quickly.
• Do not cook gudh syrup longer as it will turn into chikki after
cooling. The syrup should neither too thick nor too thin.
