कुरकुरीत आणि चविष्ट मेथी पकोडा करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १ १/२ कप / २२५ ग्रॅम बेसन
• १ चमचा लाल तिखट
• १/४ चमचा हळद
• १/४ चमचा हिंग
• १ बारीक चिरलेली हिरवी मिरची (ऐच्छिक)
• १/४ चमचा ओवा
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १०० मिली पाणी
• १ १/२ कप / १०० ग्रॅम बारीक चिरलेली मेथी
• १/२ चमचा बेकिंग पावडर
• तळण्यासाठी तेल

Let’s see how to make crispy and delicious methi pakoda today. This is a very easy and simple recipe. You can serve this on naivedya thali too!! These pakoda turn out nice, crispy and crunchy. In winter fresh methi is easily available in the market at lower price. Till now you must have tried paratha, thepla, methi matar malai etc. Why not try pakoda in this season? These turn out nice and crunchy outside and light and soft inside. We will use baking soda but you will not taste it and the bhaji will be nice and fluffy. I will share few tips and tricks on the go. These not only look tempting but also taste just awesome. Try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup / 225 gm Besan
• 1 tsp Ted chili powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 1 chopped Green chili (Optional)
• 1/4 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Salt to taste
• 100 ml Water
• 1 1/2 cup / 100 gm finely chopped Methi leaves
• 1/2 tsp Baking powder
• Oil for frying

Method:
• Mix besan, red chili powder, turmeric powder, hing, green chili, ajwain and salt well together and
add a little water at a time to make a little thick batter.
• Adding green chili is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Make sure you mix the batter in one direction only and break down lumps if any.
• Beat the batter really good for about 3-4 minutes until nice thread is formed and if you drop some
batter in water, it remains as it is and doesn’t spread in water.
• Cover and rest the batter for about 5-10 minutes.
• Wash methi leaves really good with water and spread them on a clean cotton cloth to dry for
about an hour.
• You can do this process previous night too.
• Chop the leaves finely.
• Mix the batter well once again and add baking powder.
• Mix in quickly and add methi leaves.
• Mix everything well together.
• Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan and drop pakoda into it.
• Fry pakoda really good until they get nice golden color from all sides.
• When the pakoda is fried well, take them out, drain excess oil and transfer them into a dish. Methi
pakoda is ready.
• You can have it as it is or with some chutney.
