Let’s see how to make traditional Marathi recipe Jwariche botwe today. These are jwarichya noodles. This is a very healthy and tasty recipe. It not only looks tempting but also tastes super delicious. We are celebrating year 2024 as millet year. So this is millet year special recipe as Jwari or jawar or Sorghum is a type of millet. It is a very easy and simple recipe. It doesn’t need lot many ingredients. You can make it from very few ingredients those are readily available in your pantry. This can be a good option for lunch box. If you are on diet or weight loss then this is one of the best recipes for you. It can be a good option for diabetic people. Try this recipe at home and write to me.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Jawar flour
• Salt to taste
• Hot Water as needed
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• Finely chopped Garlic
• Curry leaves
• 1 finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Capsicum
• Finely chopped Carrot
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp Garam masala
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp Garam masala
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• Chopped spring Onion
Method:
• Mix jawar flour and salt well together and add a little hot water at a time to knead soft dough like
bhakri dough.
• Knead the dough really good.
• Take a small portion from the dough and make a smooth roll form it.
• Fill the roll into chakli maker and roll out noodles from it into a dish.
• Steam the noodles on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
• Take the noodles out and let them cool down a little.
• Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
• When cumin seeds splutter, add garlic and curry leaves and fry it well together until garlic begins
to change the color.
• Add onion and fry it well.
• When the onion is almost fried, add capsicum and carrot and fry well.
• You can use veggies of your choice.
• When the veggies are almost fried, add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt
and red chili powder and mix well.
• Separate the cooked noodles with hand and add them.
• Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt and red chili powder and toss the
noodles well.
• Fry the noodles well for about 5-7 minutes and add spring onion.
• Mix well and jwariche botwe are ready.
