Samosa pinwheels are a different way of presenting popular street food samosa. This can be served as starter as it is handy, tasty and easy to serve. It tastes awesome and it looks attractive as you can see the contents easily. Do try this recipe and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• Oil
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Finely chopped Onion
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds’ powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam masala
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• 2 boiled, peeled Potatoes
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Lemon juice
• Bread slices
• Green sandwich chutney
• Tamarind chutney
• 4 tsp Oil
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add cumin seeds, onion and fry until it turns light golden.
• Add turmeric powder, cumin seeds’ powder, garam masala,
coriander powder, red chili powder and mix well.
• Fry the masale really good.
• Add potatoes, salt and mash the potatoes well.
• Turn off the gas.
• Add coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix well.
• You can use chat masala or amchoor powder in place of lemon
juice.
• Stuffing is all ready.
• Take bread slices and cut off the edges.
• Use a little bigger bread than regular bread.
• Flatten the bread slices with rolling pin.
• Spread green sandwich chutney to one slice.
• You can use ketchup in place of green chutney if you want.
• Spread tamarind chutney to another slice.
• Place a bread slice on the green chutney slice and spread the
stuffing on it.
• Place the slice with tamarind chutney such that plane side comes
up and press the sandwich well from all sides.
• You can spread tamarind chutney on upper side of the sandwich.
• Place the sandwich on a foil and make a roll of sandwich with the
help of foil. Make a tight roll.
• You can use plastic sheet, cling wrap in place of foil.
• Wrap the roll in the foil and transfer it into freeze for about 30
minutes to set.
• Take the rolls out and unwrap them.
• Cut them into slices.
• Spread butter and bake these rolls in oven on 180 Deg c for about
15-20 minutes.
• You can shallow fry or deep fry the rolls too.
• Heat up a little oil in a pan.
• Drop the rolls in hot oil and fry well until these get nice golden
color from both sides.
• When these are fried well from one side flip them over and fry
from other side as well.
• Take them out into a dish.
• Samosa pinwheels are all ready.
• You can serve this with sauce, chutney or as it is.
