• बारीक चिरलेली मेथी (ऐच्छिक)
• ३/४ कप ज्वारीचं पीठ
• हळद
• १/२ चमचा लाल तिखट
• १ चमचा धनेपूड
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ चमचा पांढरे तीळ
• तळण्यासाठी तेल

Dudhi bhopala or bottle gourd is not much favourite sabzi. If you try these mutake then I am sure, it will be favourite one. This is a healthy recipe and turns out nice and crispy. These are steamed and you can either shallow fry or deep fry these. Can be a good tea time snack or side dish. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 10~12 Garlic cloves
• 4~5 Green chilies
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Dudhi bhopala / Bottle gourd
• Finely chopped Fenugreek leaves (Optional)
• 3/4 cup Jawar flour
• Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp white Sesame seeds
• Oil for frying
Method:
• Take garlic, green chilies, cumin seeds, ajwain in a blender jar and blend into coarse paste.
Vatan or masala is ready.
• Wash and peel the dudhi bhopala.
• Grate dudhi bhopala and add fenugreek leaves, jawar flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder,
coriander powder, salt, blended fresh masala.
• Mix everything well together without adding any water first.
• Knead dough and add sesame seeds. Knead it once more.
• Divide the dough into 2 portions and make rolls.
• Steam the rolls on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and let the rolls be in the steamer for another 30 minutes.
• Check the rolls with tooth pick. If it comes out clean the rolls are steamed well.
• Let the rolls cool down and cut them in pieces.
• You can have as it is or fry in it tadka having mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Drop mutake in the oil and shallow fry it well from both sides.
• Dudhi bhopalyache mutake are all ready.
