Dalitoy is a very easy and simple recipe. This dal recipe is Konkan special and mostly made in coastal region. This can be a good variation to your regular dal or amti. Do try this delicious recipe and write to me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Tur dal
• 7~8 Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp Ghee
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing / Asafetida
• 2 Dried red chillies
• 1 tsp Grated Ginger
• Salt to taste
• 2 Green chillies
• 1 1/4 cup Water

Method:
• Take dal in cooker and wash it really good 2-3 times with water.
• Add water, salt, ginger, green chillies and mix well.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 3-4 whistles.
• Take the dal out into a pot and beat it really good.
• Add some water to adjust the consistency.
• Bring the dal to boil.
• For tadka, heat up ghee in a tadka pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add hing, dried red chillies and curry leaves.
• Add the tadka into dal and dalitoy is already.
• Dalitoy goes well with rice.
