Shrikhand is a very much popular and favourite recipe. Amrakhand or mango shrikhand is variation to your regular shrikhand. It is made from thick curd or chakka and mango pulp. Do try this delicious recipe at home and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 250 gm Strained yogurt
• 250 gm Powdered sugar
• Mango pulp
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
• Nutmeg powder
• 3~4 tsp Milk
Method:
• Take chakka or strain yogurt in a strainer and strain it really well
into a bowl.
• You can use food processor or blender for this step.
• Add powdered sugar, milk and mix well.
• Beat the mixture really good for about 4-5 minutes until it
becomes nice and fluffy.
• This is shrikhand base. Peel the mangoes and cut them into small
pieces.
• Transfer them into blender jar and blend into fine puree.
• No need to add any milk or water while blending.
• Add mango pulp and mix well.
• You can decide the quantity of mango pulp according to your
taste.
• Try to use Alphanso mango as it has nice color and consistency.
• Add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and mix well.
• Amrakhand is already.
• Amrakhand goes well with hot, fluffy puris.
Tips:
• You can add different flavors into shrikhand base and make
variety of shrikhand.
