झटपट होणारे रव्याचे आप्पे आणि चटणी करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
आप्पे
• १ १/२ कप बारीक रवा
• १/२ कप दही
• २ कप पाणी
• बारीक चिरलेली ढोबळी मिरची
• बारीक किसलेलं गाजर
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• बारीक चिरलेली हिरवी मिरची
• किसलेलं आलं
• १ चमचा इनो फ्रुट सॉल्ट
• १~२ चमचे पाणी
चटणी
• १/४ कप पंढरपुरी डाळं
• २ लसूण पाकळ्या
• ३~४ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• १/२ कप खोवलेलं ओलं खोबरं
• कोथिंबीर
• जरुरीनुसार पाणी
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• चवीनुसार साखर
• १ मोठा चमचा तेल
• १/२ चमचा मोहरी
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• चिमूटभर हिंग
• कढीपत्ता
• सुक्या लाल मिरच्या

Today’s recipe is instant ravyache appe and chutney. For making appe, one need proper planning. What I mean to say is, soaking rice and dal, then blending it and then fermentation. After all this you are able to make appe. What if one wants to make instant appe? Here I am to help you out with the recipe. Of course, you can ferment this batter too if you want!! We are making it healthier by adding veggies. We already have seen different appe recipes. This is yet another quick and delicious addition to the list. These appe turn out nice and crispy outside and soft and light inside. I am sharing chutney recipe too.

Ingredients:
Appe
• 1 1/2 cup fine Rava
• 1/2 cup Curd
• 2 cups Water
• Finely chopped Capsicum
• Finely shredded Carrot
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Green chili
• Shredded Ginger
• 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
• 1~2 tsp Water
Chutney
• 1/4 cup roasted Chana dal
• 2 Garlic cloves
• 3~4 Green chilies
• 1/2 cup grated fresh Coconut
• Coriander leaves
• Water as needed
• Salt to taste
• Sugar to taste
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• Curry leaves
• Dry Red chilies

Method:
• Mix rava, curd and water well together in a bowl.
• Cover and rest the batter for about 15-20 minutes.
• You can use 1 cup buttermilk in place of curd. In that case use 1 cup water.
• You can use coarse rava. Then in that case rest the batter longer.
• You can make this batter previous night and keep it in freeze.
• Add a little baking soda and veggies next morning and make appe.
• Add salt, capsicum, carrot, green chili, ginger and coriander leaves and mix well.
• You can add veggies of your choice.
• Add Eno fruit salt and water and mix in quickly.
• Heat up appe patra and add oil in each mold.
• Add batter in the side molds first and in the center mold at last.
• Cover and steam appe for 2 minutes.
• Remove the lid and add a little oil on each appe.
• When appe are roasted well from lower side, flip them over and roast well from other side too.
• Press the edges well so that they also are roasted well.
• When appe are roasted well from both sides, take them out into a dish. Appe are ready.
• Serve appe with chutney.
Chutney
• Blend roasted chana dal, garlic, green chilies, fresh coconut and coriander leaves into as fine
paste as possible. Avoid use of water while blending now.
• Add water, sat and sugar and blend it well together into chutney.
• Take the chutney out into a bowl.
• Heat up oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves and dry red
chilies.
• Mix well and add this tadka into chutney.
• Mix well and chutney is ready.
