Vangyache bharit or baingan ka bharta is a well known recipe. We already have seen 2-3 recipes of vangyache bharit. Today we are making another version of vangyache bharit in which we are not frying the vange. We will roast the banigan but won’t fry banigan or even onion. We will add tadka on it. It tastes just awesome and different. If you are bored of having the same bharit then do try this. I am sure you will love the taste. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 2 Bringles
• 1 tsp Kala masala
• Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Gudh / Haggery (Optional)
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Garlic-Green chili paste
• Curry leaves
Method:
• Give few slits to vange and check inside.
• For roasting vange in oven preheat it on 200 Deg C and bake vange for 15 minutes from each
side.
• Cover the base of the burner with aluminium foil so that the gas won’t get dirty.
• Rub a little oil on each vange.
• Place a jali on the gas and vangi on it.
• Roast vange really good from all sides on high heat.
• Let vangi cool down and peel the skin and stem part.
• Mash the roasted vangi well.
• Add kala masala, red chili powder, salt, gudh and mix everything well together.
• Adding gudh is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Add onion, coriander leaves and mix well.
• You can add curd if you like.
• For tadka, heat up oil in a tadka pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add hing, turmeric powder, garlic-green chili paste and fry for about a minute.
• Add curry leaves and transfer the tadla on the bharit.
• Mix everything well together and vanghyache kachhe bharit is all ready.
• You can have it with bhakari or chapatti too.
