• १/२ कप + २ मोठे चमचे / ६० मिली दूध
• ३/४ कप / १२० ग्रॅम्स पिठीसाखर
• चिमूटभर मीठ
• १/३ कप / ७५ मिली तेल
• व्हॅनिला इसेन्सचे काही थेंब
• १ चमचा बेकिंग पावडर
• १ १/४ कप / २२५ ग्रॅम मैदा
• १/४ कप / ५० ग्रॅम अनस्वीटन्ड कोको पावडर
• १ १/२ कप / १५० ग्रॅम हेवी व्हिपिंग क्रीम
• व्हॅनिला इसेन्सचे काही थेंब
• १/४ चमचा G.M.S. पावडर
• १/४ कप / ६० मिली पाणी
• १ चमचा साखर

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp / 60 ml Milk
• 3/4 cup / 120 gm powdered Sugar
• A pinch of Salt
• 1/3 cup / 75 ml Oil
• Few drops of Vanilla essence
• 1 tsp Baking powder
• 1 1/4 cup / 225 gm Maida
• 1/4 cup / 50 gm unsweetened Cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 cup / 150 gm heavy Whipping cream
• 1/4 cup / 60 gm powdered Sugar
• 1/4 tsp G.M.S. powder
• Few drops Vanilla essence
• 1/4 cup / 60 ml Water
• 1 tsp Sugar
• Shredded Chocolate
• Cherries

Method:
• Mix milk, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla essence and oil in a bowl and beat the mixture really good
until sugar dissolves and the mixture turns homogenous.
• Add baking powder and mix well.
• Sieve maida and cocoa powder into the wet mixture and break down lumps of cocoa powder if
any.
• Mix everything well together.
• Line up a tray with butter paper and pour the mixture into it.
• Spread evenly and tap the tray really good.
• Remove the rubber ring and whistle of the cooker and close the lid.
• Preheat the cooker on high heat for 5 minutes and place a stand at the base of it.
• Place the cake tin on the stand and close the lid.
• Bake the cake on medium heat for 30 minutes.
• Add powdered sugar into heavy whipping cream and whip the mixture for 3 minutes until soft
peaks are formed.
• Beat the mixture for another 4-5 minutes until hard peaks are formed and cream turns thick.
• Add G.M.S. powder and vanilla essence and beat the mixture well for just about 2 minutes. Cream
is ready.
• Check the cake with a knife.
• If it comes out clean., it means the cake is baked well.
• Take the tin out and let the cake cool down completely.
• Loosen the edges and flip the tin over into a dish.
• Cut off the upper crust and cut the cake horizontally into 3 discs.
• Line up a dish with butter paper and place the base piece of the cake on it.
• Mix sugar in water and let it dissolve to make simple syrup.
• Spread simple syrup on the cake and spread the cream on it.
• Place middle piece of the cake on it and spread simple syrup.
• Again spread cream and place the last and topmost piece of cake on it.
• Spread simple syrup and spread a thin layer of cream on it.
• Spread cream along the edges of the cake and spread shredded chocolate at the center of the
cake.
• Fill the cream into a piping bag and decorate the cake.
• Garnish with cherries and sprinkle shredded chocolate along the edge.
• Remove the butter paper at the base carefully and black forest cake is ready.
• This cake weighs almost 500 gm.
