Shrikhand is a traditional Indian dessert. It is made from curd. The shrikhand that we are making today is flavoured with keshar or saffron and dry nuts. Very easy and simple recipe. You can keep it ready a day before and store it in freeze. Do try it and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 250 gm Chakka
• 250 gm powdered Sugar
• 1/4 cup Milk
• 7~8 Saffron strands
• 1 tsp Milk
• Cardamom powder
• 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
• Finley chopped Almonds
• Finely chopped Cashew nuts
• Few Pistachios
Method:
• Strain the chakka through a strainer.
• You can use puran yantra for this process. You can use suji
strainer too.
• Straining helps to remove small lumps of curd and gives nice
consistency to shrikhand.
• Add powdered sugar and mix well.
• Add milk and mix well.
• Beat it really good for about 4-5 minutes until it becomes light
and fluffy.
• Soak saffron strands in milk and add that milk into shrikhand. Mix
well.
• Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, almonds, cashew nuts,
pistachios and mix well.
• Keshar dry fruit shrikhand is all ready.
