Kondale is a Jalgaon, Khandesh special recipe. It is a type of thalipeeth with a little variation. This is a very easy and simple recipe. You can serve this healthy recipe as any time snack or breakfast. These taste just awesome and become nice, crispy and khamang. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 7~8 Garlic cloves
• 2~3 Green chillies
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• 1 cup Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup Besan
• 1/2 cup Jawar flour
• 1/2 cup Rice flour
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp Red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Water
• Oil
Method:
• In a blender jar take cloves.
• Add green chillies, cumin seeds, carom seeds and blend it into coarse paste.
• Take wheat flour into a dish. Add besan, jawar flour, rice flour, the coarse paste that we
blended, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, onion, coriander leaves and mix everything
well together.
• Add a little water at a time and knead soft dough. The dough should neither be too stiff nor too
soft.
• Take a wet cotton cloth or handkerchief.
• Spread a little water at the center of it.
• Take a small portion from the dough, make it smooth and even and place it on the wet cloth.
• Dip the hand in water and pat the dough to make thalipeeth.
• You can decide the thickness of the kondale.
• Make a hole at the center of it. You can make more holes if you want.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat.
• Brush a little oil and transfer the kondale on it.
• Cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
• Remove the lid and spread a little oil along the edges and at the center.
• Roast until lower side gets nicely roasted.
• Flip the kondale over and roast well from other side as well.
• When kondale roasted well from both sides, take it off into a plate.
• Kondale are all ready.
