Gauri Ganapati are round the corner. Second day after Ganesh chaturthi is celebrated as Rushi panchami. On this day, a special bhaji is prepared called rushichi bhaji. This is a very simple and easy recipe made using different veggies. Let’s see how to make this delicious rushich bhaji. Do not forget to like, comment, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup Coconut
• 2 Green chilies
• 1/2 cup chopped Aluchi pane
• Aluchi Detha
• 1/2 cup Chopped Lal Math
• 1/2 cup Chopped Val papdi
• 1/2 cup Matar / Green peas
• 1/2 cup Lal bhopla / Pumpkin
• 1/2 cup Corn
• 1/2 cup Chopped Dodka / Ridge gourd
• 1/4 cup Cucumber
• 1 tbsp Ghee
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp
• Salt to taste
• Water
Method:
• For making masala for rushichi bhaji, take coconut and green chili
in blender jar.
• Blend it and masala for bhaji is already.
• Heat up pressure cooker on medium heat.
• Add ghee and when ghee is enough hot, add cumin seeds. Let
them splutter.
• Add aluchi pane and fry for about a minute.
• Add val papdi and aluchi detha. Mix well.
• Add pumpkin, ridge gourd, lal math, corn, cucumber and green
peas. Mix well and fry for about 2 minutes.
• Add coconut green chili masala, tamarind pulp and salt. You can
use black salt too.
• Mix well and very little water.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 1 whistle.
• Rushichi bbhaji is already.
Tips:
• Alu causes irritation. To reduce irritation, add tamarind pulp.
• Do not add much water as the veggies those are used release
moisture.
