• १ मोठा चमचा तेल
• १/२ चमचा मोहरी
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• १/२ चमचा मेथ्या
• चिमूटभर हिंग
• कढीपत्ता
• १/४ चमचा हळद
• १/२ चमचा लाल तिखट
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• शिजवून घोटलेली तूरडाळ
• जरुरीनुसार पाणी
• २ मोठे चमचे चिंचेचा कोळ
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १/२ चमचा गोडा मसाला
• चवीनुसार गूळ
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर

Today’s recipe is Maharashtrian chinch-gulachi amti. This is a typical dal made in many Marathi households on regular basis. This is an authentic, traditional Marathi recipe that is not only healthy but also tasty. It is a very easy and simple recipe. This is a righteous food as there is no onion or garlic used in this dal. This really is a comfort food. You can have it with rice, with chapatti or you can just sip it like soup. It has sweet taste along bit sourness. For sourness we are using chinch or tamarind today!! In Maharashtra this amti is made almost daily. This is a flavourful and delicious yet comfort food. Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• Curry leaves
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Cooked Turdal
• Water as needed
• 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Goda masala
• Jaggery to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
• When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Turn the heat to low and add fenugreek seeds, hing, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chili
powder, coriander leaves and cooked turdal.
• Add turmeric powder and hing while cooking the dal and beat it really good before adding it into
the tadka.
• Add water, tamarind pulp, salt, goda masala and jaggery and mix well.
• You can use coriander powder and cumin powder in place of goda masala.
• Add coriander leaves and simmer the amti well.
• Chinch-gulachi amti is ready.
• Serve it with rice and lot of ghee. You can have it as soup.
