Masala boondi is a very yummy and tempting recipe. You can’t go out to buy it now. Why not try at home! It is a very easy and simple recipe. It has got good shelf life too. This is another aai special recipe. Hope you enjoy it! You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Besan
• 1 tbsp Rice flour
• Salt to taste
• A pinch of baking soda
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup Water
• Oil for frying
• Red chili powder
• Rock salt
• Chat masala
• Raw peanuts
• Curry leaves

Method:
• Take besan in a bowl add rice flour, salt, baking soda, turmeric powder.
• You may skip baking soda if you don’t want.
• Mix everything well together.
• Add a little water at a time and mix well. No lumps of besan should be formed.
• The batter should have pouring consistency.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• You can use “jhara” or grater or sieve for making bundi.
• Mix batter really good every time for every batch of boondi.
• Spread a spoonful batter on jhara and let the boondi fall into hot oil.
• When all the batter in the jhara falls into oil as boondi then wipe out the base of jhara clean
with hand every time.
• This helps to make next batch of boondi nice and round.
• Fry well on low to medium heat.
• When bubbles in kadhai reduce, take the boondi out, drain excess oil and transfer it into a dish.
• Color of boondi should not change but at the same time it should be fried well.
• When boondi is hot speinkle red chili powder, rock salt, chat masala and mix everything well
together.
• In the same oil fry peanuts until these turn reddish.
• Fry curry leaves in the same oil until it begins to shrink.
• Drain excess oil and spread the fried peanuts and curry leaves on boondi.
• Mix everything well together and masala boondi is all ready.
• You can store this in airtight container when it cools down completely.
• It has got good shelf life.
