• १ कप साबुदाणा

Let’s make Navaratra special sabudana thalipeeth today. This thalipeeth turns out nice and crispy. It is a very easy and simple recipe. This can be a good option for sabudana khichadi. I am trying to make it healthier. So I am using pumpkin in this recipe. If you are fasting for all 9 days of Navaratra, then you need to look for variety in your fasting dishes. So, here I am to help you out with it. We already have seen different upwas recipes. This is yet another delicious addition to the list. This recipe doesn’t need lot many ingredients. You can make it from very few ingredients those are readily available in your pantry. I am sharing koshimbir recipe too to serve along with it!! Ingredients:
Thalipeeth
• 1 cup Sabudana
• Water as needed
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 2 chopped Green chilies
• 1” chopped Ginger
• Salt to taste
• 2~3 tbsp roasted Peanut powder
• Ghee
Koshimbir
• 1/2 cup Curd
• 1 peeled and grated Cucumber
• 1 tsp Sugar
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp roasted Peanut powder
• 125 gm Pumpkin
Method:
Thalipeeth
• Wash sabudana really good 4-5 times and soak it in enough water for at least 6-7 hours or
overnight.
• Pound cumin seeds, green chilies and ginger into coarse paste in mortar and pestle.
• You can skip ginger and cumin seeds if you don’t want.
• You can blend it in mixer too. Thecha for thalipeeth is ready.
• Wash and grate the pumpkin.
• Mix soaked sabudana, pumpkin, thecha as per your taste, salt, roasted peanut powder well
together. Avoid use of water.
• Take some mixture and roll it into smooth ball.
• Grease a skillet well with ghee and place the ball on it.
• Pat thalipeeth from it and make it smooth and even. Smooth the edges too.
• Cover and cook the thalipeeth on medium heat.
• After cooking the thalipeeth for about 2 minutes remove the lid and press it a little.
• When lower side is roasted well flip the thalipeeth over and cook it well from other side too.
• When other side is cooked well, take it off on a wire rack.
• Thalipeeth is ready and serve it with koshimbir.
Koshimbir
• Mix curd, cucumber, a little thecha, sugar and roasted peanut powder well together. Koshimbir is
ready.
• You can use finely chopped cucumber in place of grated one.
