This fruit is called as naaval pazham or
navaa pazham or jamun fruit
or naga pazham
Before recipes,let me show you another seasonal fruit
yellow dates (Barhi dates)
golden matte finish and a crunchy apple-like
texture with a slight sweetness and mild astringency
very healthy fibre rich fruit .dont miss this in its season
it has a seed and outer fleshy part which is
sweet crunchy like coconut
lets come back to jamun fruit
june ,july ,august you can get this seasonal fruit

medicinal benefits
will share the benefits of this fruits after making
yummy recipes out of it
it has sweet,astringency,sour taste in it
3 desserts from jamun fruit
wash well and cut the fleshy part from seeds
jamun fruit milkshake
1cup jamun pulp
1cup milk
1tbs powdered jaggery
grind the jamun fruit pulp
add milk and jaggery. Then grind it
you can add ice cubes if you want chill
colorful jamun milkshake ready to serve
jamun fruit lemonade juice
1 cup jamun fruit
1cup water
half lemon
pinch salt
1/2tsp zeera powder
grind jamun and water
Then add lemon juice
you can even grind few mint leaves along with it
Add salt and grind it
serve with some zeera powder
Jamun fruit lassi
1cup curd
1/2cup milk
1tbs powdered jaggery
Pinch of salt
if you want it chill add few ice cubes
grind all ingredients and lassi is ready to serve
all recipes are very yummy
you can eat this fruit with salt and chilly powder
It tastes heavenly
