NARIPAYARU KADAIYAL/MOTH BEAN GRAVY
side dish for hot rice and chapathi or roti
very healthy dish
you can replace the same with green gram instead
of moth bean also
3tbs oil
1/2tsp mustard ,urad dal
1/2tsp zeera
20 small onions
1 green chilly
4 garlic chopped
1tsp ginger chopped
2tomatoes
1/2tsp turmeric
1/2tsp pepper powder
salt as needed
let the tomatoes mash well
This is moth bean which is overnight soaked in water
you can replace the same method with green gram
moth bean 1 cup soaked overnight
moth beans are rich in fibre and minerals
1tbs coriander powder
1tsp chilly powder
1/2tsp garam masala
hing 1/4tsp
drained moth beans 2 cups
2cups water
salt some
close cooker in high flame
when steam comes,keep weight
in sim flame for 15mins
open after 15mins after the gas is released
Mash well
1cups water
boil once .It should be in pouring consistency
check salt
garnish with coriander leaf
serve with hot rice or roti with ghee as topping
