Hi friends,welcome to madhu samayal
Easy version of pearl millet porridge
Instant preparation
you can use whole pearl millet by grinding it coarsely
or you can use pearl millet kurunai(which is broken form)
Pearl millet is very health and i will share its benefits
at the end of video
1cup pearl millet(kambu)
rinse well and drain it
pressure cook this pearl millet
for 1 cup pearl millet,use 3 cups of water
we can use this quantity for 2 days for 2 members
if we prepare this kambu rice ,we can use it for
3 to 4 days by keeping in fridge and make porridge out of it
close the cooker and keep in high flame.when steam
comes,keep in sim flame and put weight .Cook for 10mins
open after the gas is released
it gets thick when it gets cool down
transfer to bowl and let it cool down
Just taking the needed quantity of kambu rice to make
porridge for breakfast and reserve the rest for next day
mixing the cooled down kambu rice with 3 spatula of
Curd and mix by adding water to make porridge
check salt
mix according to your desired consistency
you can serve this porridge with small onion or spicy
vegetable stir fry or papad or fried greenchillies

make porridge
taking the required kambu rice from fridge
mash and add salt ,curd
adding curd to this porridge helps to cool down the body
in the hot summer season
served next day with spicy brinjal stir fry
