today I’m going to show you perfect semya Kesar with tips
follow my video step by step in very easy way .you can make this in very few minutes to your loved once.it is a very sweet dish can have occasionally in very less time.
Semya Kesari:
Ingredients:
semya (vermicelli)-200grms
sugar-150 grms
cardamom powder-1 tbsp
water-500 ml
Ghee-3 tbsp
Cashews-20 grms
Raisins-20 grms
Kesar food colour-1/6 th tbsp
Process:
Take a pan and add some ghee. let it get heated up for a while and then fry cashew nuts and raisins.
Take in a separate bowl and keep aside.
In the same pan again add 1 tbsp of ghee ,add vermicelli in it and fry on medium flame until they convert into golden brown in color. collect and keep aside.
In another pan add four cups of water for 2 cup of vermicelli in the ratio 1:2 and boil them for a while and add 1 tbsp of cardamom powder and Kesar food colour….let the water boil and add fried vermicelli in it .mix evenly .keep on medium flame and cook for 20 min.
Let the water escape from the pan and now add a cup of sugar to the vermicelli.cook for 2 min and add fried cashew and raisins for garnish.

Tips :
Roast the vermicelli in ghee ….only on medium flame .vermicelli should evenly roast.
Quantity of water should be double than quantity of vermicelli.in 1:2 ratio.
