Description :
Candy cocoons:
Maida -250 grams
Salt -1/4 tbsp
Sugar-1/4 kg
Cardamom powder-1 tbsp
Water-100 ml
Oil-for deep fry
Process:
Take a bowl add some maida flour and salt as per taste.mix evenly and add some water into the flour .make it to dough.keep aside
Take a pan add some sugar and water…let the sugar dissolve into the water.
Cook for 20 min to make a syrup.
Add 1 tbsp of cardamom powder into the syrup. keep this aside
Now take the prepared dough and make equal sizes of ball.kneed the dough to a round shape and cut into triangular strips.
Run these strips around your finger to make a cocoon shape.
Seal with water applying on to the ends.
Fry these cocoons in hot oil on medium flame until they convert into a golden brown in color.
After frying dip these cocoons in the sugar syrup.
