నొట్లో నీళ్ళు ఊరె ఉసిరికాయల కూర
ఉసిరికాయల తో ఒకసారి ఇలా ట్రై చెయ్యండి అధ్బుతం గా ఉంటుంది
Amla curry
/amla pickle
Ingredients:
Fresh amla-1/2 kg
Tamarind-50grms
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds-2 tbsp
Skinless split black lentils-1 tbsp
Chana dal/split chic peas-1 tbsp
Cumin -1 tbsp
Hing-1/4 tbsp
Dry red chilies-2
Oil-4 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds-1 tbsp
Sesame seeds-1 tbsp
Red chili powder-2 tbsp
Salt-2tbsp
Turmeric-1/2 tbsp
Process:
1. Take a mixy jar add 1 tbsp of mustard seeds,1 tbsp of fenugreek seeds,1 tbsp of sesame seeds. ground them to a fine powder and save for later use.
2. Take a cup add 50 grams of tamarind to it and soak the tamarind in water for 20 min and then squeeze the juice from it.collect the juice with the help of a strainer.
3. Keep this juice aside.
4. Take a pan add 4 tsp of oil, let it get heated up and add mustard seeds, skinless split black lentils, chana dal, cumin,2 dry red chilies fry them well and add curry leaves to it when the oil starts popping up add hing to it.
5. In this mixture add fresh amla’s.
6. Place one by one in the pan and cook the amlas by covering with a plate on top of the pan and add some water on the plate.
7. This makes the amla’s cook well and soft.
8. Cook for 20 min and take out from the oil.
9. Keep them aside.
10. Now add tamarind juice to the mixture and cook for a while. add grounded mustard powder mixture,1 tbsp of salt,2 tbsp of red chili powder,1/2 tbsp of turmeric.
11. Mix evenly and add fried amlas in it .give a good mix and again cook for 10 min.
12. That’s it.
