Ingredients:
Around 200 grams puffed rice
1 tsp ghee / clarified butter
150 grams jaggery
1 – 2 pinches of cardamom powder
Method:
– In a pan, toast the puffed rice on a medium high heat for about 3 – 4 minutes. Once done, keep it aside.
– In a pan, add the ghee / clarified butter. Once it melts, add the jaggery to it and keep stirring on a low to medium high heat to prevent it from burning.
– Keep stirring until the jaggery is completely melted and free from lumps.
– Then add cardamom powder to it and mix well.
– Add the puffed rice to this and keep stirring on a very low flame until the puffed rice is nicely coated with the jaggery mixture.
– Once its completely coated, turn off the flame and let it cool down slightly.
– Once it is warm enough to handle, take about 3 – 4 tbsp of the mixture and start making medium sized balls out of it.
– Let them cool down slightly at room temperature for around 15 – 20 minutes and then you can store them in an air tight container.
– The delicious Kurmura Ladoo are ready to be served.

Can I do this with marshmellows? I don't have jaggery. My mom left surti mamra at my house when she moved. This is like rice krispie treats, right?
In bangla we call it mowa its so crunchy i love it
So i'm planning to do this but with a healthy flavor (Banana flavor? Or anything healthy).. for my research paper. Is that even possible?
