Soft Bhakarwadi (Baroda Style) is a famous fried snack made from spicy & sweet gram flour stuffed long rolls. They are soft & melt in the mouth & are famous from Vadodara city in Gujarat, India. They are slightly different that the Maharashtrian Bhakarwadi wherein they are softer & are about the size of finger rather than small rounds. They are absolute delight to have & the famous ones are available at Vadodadara. And if you cannot manage to get these you can make this at home from scratch. They are deep fried, however, if you wish you can also bake it till golden brown in oven! Moreover they are easy to make. Do try it today!

My aunt used to bring bhakarwadi from baroda during summer vacations. It used to be long finger length and so tasty. The ones she get from the same shop now doesn't have that taste. This recipe brings my childhood memories of baroda bhakarwadi back.
