1/2 cup grated bottle gourd/lauki
1/2 tsp white sesame seeds
1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
1/8 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup coarse wheat flour
1/4 cup besan
1/4 cup coriander leaves
1/3-1/2 cup hot water
water for steaming
steam for 20-25 mins on high
heat oil for frying
