Red Chili Ka Salan, a different and spicy Gravy Curry easy to prepare. Goes well with Roti, Rice, or Biryani as well.

Ingredients:

Red Chilies(Pandu Mirchi): 1/4 Kg
Onion: 1 Big Sliced
Tomatoes: 2 Chopped
Ginger: 3 to 4 Pieces
Garlic: 7 to 8 Cloves
Almonds: 7 to 8 No’s
Cashews: 10 to 12 No’s
Melon Seeds: 1 Tablespoon
Poppy Seeds: 1 Tablespoon
Coriander Seeds: 1 Tablespoon
Oil: 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder; 1/4 Teaspoon
Chili Powder: 1 Teaspoon or as required
Salt: 1 1/2 Teaspoon or as needed
Garam Masala: 1/4 Teaspoon
Coriander Leaves: for garnishing

Method of Preparation:
Take 1/4 Kg Red Chilies wash, slit, and place aside for a while.
Take 1 Big sized Onion sliced, 2 Tomatoes sliced, 3 to 4 Pieces of Ginger, and 7 to 8 Garlic Cloves.
Heat a pan and dry roast 7 to 8 Almonds for a moment, add 10 to 12 Cashews and fry until the change in color.
Add 1 Tbs of Melon Seeds, Poppy Seeds & Coriander Seeds. ( adding Coriander seeds in the last as they were roasted earlier).
Put off the flame and let them cool down.
To the same pan add 1 Tsp of Oil, fry sliced Onions till transparent.
Add 2 chopped tomatoes cook until soft with a lid on it, put off the flame let it cool down.
To a mixie jar dry roasted ingredients and grind them into a fine powder. ( Almonds, Cashews, Poppy Seeds, Melon Seeds & Coriander Seeds)
Store the ground powder in a bowl for a while.
Now, grind the fried Onions, Tomatoes, Ginger & Garlic with some water into a fine paste.
Heat a pan with 1 Tbs of Oil, add slit Red Chilies fry for 3 to 4 Min on low flame.
When cooked a bit, add the ground paste and fry for a while.
Add 1/2 a cup of water, 1/4 Tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1 1/2 Tsp of Salt or as needed, and 1 Tsp of Red Chili Powder.
Adjust the taste accordingly, let cook it for 3 to 4 Min.
Let gravy be in a thick consistency, add 1/4 Tsp of Garam Masala.
Garnish it with some Coriander Leaves, put off the flame.
Tasty & delicious Red Chili Curry is ready.
