Ingredients:
2 tablespoon oil
1 onion, chopped
10 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch piece of ginger, minced
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam flour (besan)
12 cashew nuts
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
¼ teaspoon kasuri methi
1 diced tomatoes
1 cup frozen green peas
200gm paneer, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon malai (fresh cream)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more. Add tomato and cook for another 2 minutes mix 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder. Tum off the heat and make a fine paste by adding little water.
In a pan add 2 tablespoon oil add ½ tsp cumin seeds once splutter add 1 teaspoon red chilli powder and saute for 30seconds. Now mix the paste and cook for 5 minutes. On oil oil separate Add the turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala, kasuri methi and cook for 1 minute more. Mix 1 cup water and on boiling add 1 tablespoon cream. Cook for another 2 minutes and add green peas and paneer. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve hot with rice or roti.
