For example paneer butter masala is made of onion, poppy seeds/melon seeds/ cashew and tomato. Paneer makhani on the other hand uses, cream in addition and it does not use onion or poppy seeds. it is made with tomato, cahew paste and cream. 1. Always use red ripe tomatoes, if it is partially ripe or unripe it alter the taste of the dish.
