To Make Tomato Pickle

Oil
Tomato – 1 KG Chopped
Tamarind
Fenugreek Seeds – 2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – 3 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 2 Tsp
Garlic – 20 Cloves
Curry Leaves
Chana Dal – 2 Tsp
Urad Dal – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Red Chillies – 2
Salt – 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder – 3 Tsp

Method
1. Heat a pan and add oil to it.
2. Add tomatoes and tamarind pieces to the pan and
saute.
3. Boil well with rock salt and transfer to a vessel.
4. Boil it for 15 minutes.
5. Heat a pan, add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and
cumin seeds and fry.
6. Add garlic cloves and curry leaves and fry.
7. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Let it cool
completely.
8. Transfer the cooked tomatoes to a mixer jar and grind
to a paste. Transfer it to a bowl.

9. Transfer the roasted ingredients to a mixer jar and
grind. Transfer the spices to a bowl.
10. Heat a pan and add oil.
11. Add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, asafoetida
powder, red chillies and curry leaves.
12. Add tomato tamarind paste and boil well.
13. Add some water and boil for 20 minutes
14. Add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder and mix
well.
15. Add ground masala to it and mix well.
16. Add oil and cook.
17. Once cooked, let it cool completely. Then transfer it
to a jar.
18. Delicious tomato pickle is ready to be served.
