Paneer – 400 Gms
Schezwan Sauce
Salt – 1 Tsp
Coriander Leaves
Maida – 3 Tsp
Corn Flour – 3 Tsp
To Make Schezwan Paneer
Oil – 3 Tsp
Garlic – 1 Tbsp
Ginger – 1 Tbsp
Green Chilli – 1 No.
Green Capsicum – 1/2 No.
Red Capsicum – 1/2 No.
Schezwan Chilli Paste – 1 Tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Salt – 1/4 Tsp
Pepper – 1/4 Tsp
Water
Spring Onion Greens
Sesame Seeds
Method
Come. Lets prepare the a wonderful spicy starter at home…
Take paneer and crumble it or grate it.
Add one tsp of schezwan sause, one tsp of salt, handful of chopped coriander leaves, three tsp of maida, three tsp of corn flour, and mix well.
Mixture is ready now, Lets prepare the the paneer balls.
Dap a little oil on your palms, take a small portion of the mixture and roll it between your palms
Shape them into small size balls
Prepare all the balls in the same manner and keep it aside.
To a plate spread a little corn flour and spread evenly.
Roll the paneer balls in the corn flour. Follow the process for all the balls and keep it aside.
To a kadai, add enough oil for deep frying.
Once the oil is hot, gently drop the paneer balls and fry it.
Once fried remove from the hot oil and keep it aside.
To a wide pan, add oil, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, onion wedges, green capsicum wedges, red capsicum wedges and stir fry.
Add one tsp of schezwan sause, one ahd half tbsp of soya sause, one and half tsp of tomato ketchup, quarter tsp of salt, quarter tsp of pepper, and mix well.
Add little water and cook.
Add the corn flour slurry and mix again.
Add chopped spring onion greens, and add the fried paneer balls and toss it with the sause.
Sprinkle some sesame seeds.
Spicy Schezwan paneer balls is ready to be served nice and hot.
