To Make Rava Burfi

Ghee – 1/2 Cup ( 125 Ml )
Gram / Besan Flour – 3 Tbsp
Rava / Sooji – 1 1/2 Cup
Sugar – 3/4 Cup
Water – 3/4 Cup
Milk Powder – 3 Tbsp
Cardamom Powder – 1 Tsp
Ghee
Almonds
Pistachio

Method:

Grease the tin or the round plate with the ghee.
To a wide pan , add half cup of ghee,
Roast the gram flour in the ghee for 2-3 minutes.
After two minutes you will get a nice aroma from the
roasted gram flour.

At this stage add one and half cup of sooji with the
ghee besan mixture. Mix it all well,
Once you get a nice aroma removeit from the stove and
keep it aside.
To a sause pan, take 3/4th cup of sugarand the same
quantity of water.
Boil the sugar syrup till you get a slightly thick and
sticky consistency.
Now add the sugar syrup into besan sooji mixture, Mix
it all together.
Add three tbsp. of milk powder to it. Mix it all in.
Add one tsp of cardamom powder, remaining ghee and
mix it all nicely.
Switch off the stove now and transfer the rava burfi to
the greased tin.
Garnish it with sliced badam and pistachios on the top.
Make pieces according to your desired shapes and sizes.

Yummy and delicious rava burfi is ready to be served
nice and soft.
