Ingredients:
Poha – 1 cup
Water
To make masala for poha cutlet
Oil- 1 1/2 tbsp
Onion – 1 no finely chopped
Ginger – 1 tsp finely chopped
Garlic – 1 tsp finely chopped
Green chili – 2 nos finely chopped
Carrot – 1 no. Finely chopped
Beans – finely chopped
Peas – 1 cup cooked
Potatoes – 2 nos boiled
Salt – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala powder – 1 tsp
Soaked poha
Coriander leaves
Bread crumbs
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Water
Oil
Method:
Rinse the poha with water
Let it sit for 10 mins
Heat a pan with some oil
Add onions, ginger, garlic and saute
Add the vegetables and stir well
Add turmeric powder and salt and mix well
Close and cook the vegetables
Add the soaked poha and spice powders and mix well
Finally, add some coriander leaves and mix well
Let the vegetable masala cool
Make small patties from it and keep it aside (you can refrigerate at this stage for 10 mins, this step is optional)
Mix corn flour with water and make a batter
Dip the patties in the corn flour mixture
Roll it in bread crumbs and set aside (you can refrigerate at this stage for 10 mins, this step is optional)
Shallow fry the patties till they are golden brown in color
Serve the poha cutlets hot
